Also have a look at our other healthy oats recipe :- http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5ybT430UWNc7P_3XnxmpTRn-rCPxrweG Ingredients to make Oats and whole wheat/ Atta Bread :- Whole Wheat Flour - 1.3Cup / 300 Gms Oats - 3/4 Cup / 80 Gms Water as required Instant Yeast - 1½ Tsp Sugar - 1 Tsp Milk Powder - 2 Tbsp Salt to taste Oil - 2-3 Tsp Milk - 1.5 tsp (For Brushing) Sesame Seeds, quick Oats for Sprinkling - 1.5 Tsp Each Method to make Oats and Whole Wheat / Atta Bread:- 1. Grind quick oats to make oats flour 2. In 1/2 Cup lukewarm water add yeast & sugar. Mix and let it set for 10 mins. 3.In a large mixing bowl, add the whole wheat flour, oats flour , milk powder, salt and mix well. 4. Add the yeast mix to the flour mix and give it a good stir. Once clumped, transfer onto a flat surface. Grease some oil on your hand and on the surface to prevent the dough from sticking. Knead the dough for 15 minutes. 5. Once kneaded properly Transfer the dough to a greased bowl. cover with a damp cloth and let it rise for 45 minutes. 6. Once doubled in volume, knead again for a minute or two. Roll it around to make a round even ball. Now slowly roll it with your hands to make a oblong log. Now sprinkle the quick oats and sesame seeds on the surface and roll the dough on it. 7. Transfer the dough in a greased bread tin / mould and press down. Sprinkle some water on top.and cover with a damp cloth and keep aside for 45 minutes. 8. After the dough has doubled, brush the bread loaf gently with milk. 9. Now bake in a preheated oven for 35-40 minutes at 170-175c. 10. Take the bread out. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then loosen the edges with a knife and take the bread out. Once its completely cool, slice with bread knife or store in a bag.
